Leeds City Council pledges to beat Islamophobia

As  part of Islamophobia Awareness Month, Leeds City Council has pledged to tackle Islamophobia in the City.

Alongside this pledge, Shantona Women’s centre and safer Leeds are running islamophobia awareness sessions.  

Councillor Debra Couper who signed the pledge said: “We’re delighted to be taking part in this valuable city-wide collaborative effort to end Islamophobia.”
