With Christmas coming up animal welfare charity the RSPCA wants to advise people who are planning on getting a new pet to ensure they are making the correct decision, with hopes to ease pressure on the Leeds and Wakefield branch.
The animal shelter has not seen any adoptions since lockdown began, meaning they are at capacity.
